| 1 Baczcie, żebyście nie czynili waszej jałmużny przed ludźmi, abyście byli przez nich widziani: inaczej nie macie nagrody od waszego Ojca, który jest w niebie. | 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. |
| 2 Dlatego, gdy czynisz jałmużnę, nie dmij w trąbę przed sobą, jak to robią hipokryci w synagogach i na ulicach, aby mogli mieć chlubę u ludzi. Zaprawdę powiadam wam, Oni mają swoją nagrodę. | 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. |

Zaprawdę powiadam wam, Oni mają swoją nagrodę. | 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. |
| 6 Ale ty, gdy się modlisz, wejdź do swego pokoju, a kiedy zamkniesz swoje drzwi, módl się do twego Ojca, który jest w ukryciu; a twój Ojciec, który widzi w ukryciu, wynagrodzi ci otwarcie. | 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. |
| 7 Lecz gdy się modlicie, nie używajcie próżnych powtórzeń, jak to czynią poganie: bo oni myślą, że będą wysłuchani dzięki swej wielomówności. | 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. |
| 8 Nie bądźcie więc do nich podobni: gdyż wasz Ojciec wie czego potrzebujecie, zanim go poprosicie. | 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. |
| 9 W ten sposób więc módlcie się: Ojcze nasz, który jesteś w niebie, bądź Uświęcone twoje imię. | 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. |
| 10 Przyjdź Twoje królestwo, bądź dokonana Twoja wola na ziemi, jak jest w niebie. | 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. |
| 11 Daj nam dzisiaj naszego powszedniego chleba. | 11 Give us this day our daily bread. |
| 12 I przebacz nam nasze długi, jak my przebaczamy naszym dłużnikom. | 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. |
| 13 I nie prowadź nas na pokuszenie, ale wybaw nas od diabelskiego: Bo twoje jest królestwo, i moc, i chwała, na wieki. Amen. | 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. |
| 14 Bo jeśli wy przebaczycie ludziom ich przewinienia, wasz niebiański Ojciec przebaczy też wam: | 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: |
| 15 Lecz jeśli nie przebaczycie ludziom ich przewinień, to i wasz Ojciec nie przebaczy wam waszych przewinień. | 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. |
| 16 Ponadto, gdy pościcie, nie bądźcie smutnego oblicza jak hipokryci: bowiem oni szpecą swoje twarze, aby móc ukazać się ludziom, że poszczą. Zaprawdę powiadam wam, Oni mają swoją nagrodę. | 16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. |
| 17 Ale ty, gdy pościsz, namaść swoją głowę, i umyj swoją twarz; | 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; |
| 18 Aby nie ukazywać się ludziom, że pościsz, lecz twemu Ojcu, który jest w ukryciu: a twój Ojciec, który widzi w ukryciu, wynagrodzi ci otwarcie. | 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. |
| 19 Nie gromadźcie sobie skarbów na ziemi, gdzie mól i rdza psują, i gdzie złodzieje włamują się i kradną: | 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: |
| 20 Ale gromadźcie sobie skarby w niebie, gdzie ani mól, ani rdza nie psują, i gdzie złodzieje nie włamują się i nie kradną: | 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: |
| 21 Bo tam gdzie wasz skarb jest, tam będzie również wasze serce. | 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
| 22 Światłem ciała jest oko: jeśli więc twoje oko jest skupione, całe twoje ciało będzie pełne światła. | 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. |
| 23 Jeśli zaś twoje oko jest diabelskie, całe twoje ciało będzie pełne ciemności. Jeśli więc światło które jest w tobie jest ciemnością, jak wielka jest ta ciemność! | 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! |
| 24 Żaden człowiek nie może dwom panom służyć: bo albo jednego będzie nienawidził, a drugiego miłował; albo jednego będzie się trzymał, a drugim gardził. Nie możecie służyć Bogu i mamonie. | 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. |
| 25 Dlatego mówię wam, Nie troszczcie się o wasze życie, co będziecie jeść, albo co będziecie pić; ani nawet o wasze ciało, w co będziecie się ubierać. Czyż życie nie jest czymś więcej niż pokarm, a ciało niż odzienie? | 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? |
| 26 Spójrzcie na ptactwo powietrzne: bo nie sieją, ani nie żną, ani nie zbierają do spichlerzy; jednak wasz niebiański Ojciec żywi je. Czy wy nie jesteście o wiele lepsi od nich? | 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? |
| 27 Któż z was myśląc może dodać jeden łokieć do swego wzrostu? | 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? |
| 28 I dlaczego troszczycie się o odzienie? Przypatrzcie się liliom polnym, jak rosną; nie pracują, ani nie przędą: | 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: |
| 29 A jednak mówię wam, Że nawet Salomon w całej swojej chwale nie był tak przystrojony jak jedna z nich. | 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |
| 30 Jeśli więc Bóg tak przyodziewa trawę polną, która dziś jest, a jutro wrzucona jest do pieca, czyż nie tym bardziej przyodzieje was, O wy małej wiary? | 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? |
| 31 Dlatego nie troszczcie się, mówiąc, Co będziemy jeść? albo, Co będziemy pić? albo, W co się ubierzemy? | 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? |
| 32 (Bo o te wszystkie rzeczy Goje zabiegają:) bowiem wasz niebiański Ojciec wie, że tych wszystkich rzeczy potrzebujecie. | 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. |
| 33 Ale szukajcie najpierw królestwa Boga, i jego sprawiedliwości; a te wszystkie rzeczy będą wam dodane. | 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. |
| 34 Dlatego nie troszczcie się o jutro; bo jutro zatroszczy się o swoje rzeczy. Dosyć dla dnia jest diabelstwa jego. | 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. |
