| 1 Jezus poszedł na Górę Oliwną. | 1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. |
| 2 A wcześnie rano przyszedł znowu do świątyni, i cały lud zszedł się do niego; a on usiadł, i nauczał ich. | 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. |
| 3 A prawoznawcy i Faryzeusze przyprowadzili do niego kobietę przyłapaną na cudzołóstwie; a gdy postawili ją pośrodku, | 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, |
| 4 Mówią do niego, Mistrzu, ta kobieta została przyłapana na cudzołóstwie, w samym czynie. | 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. |
| 5 A Mojżesz w prawie nakazał nam, że takie należy kamienować: lecz co ty mówisz? | 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? |
| 6 A mówili to, kusząc go, żeby mogli go oskarżyć. Lecz Jezus, schylił się, i swym palcem pisał po ziemi, jakby ich nie słyszał. | 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. |
| 7 Gdy więc go pytali dalej, podniósł się, i powiedział do nich, Ten, kto jest bez grzechu wśród was, niech pierwszy rzuci w nią kamieniem. | 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. |
| 8 I znowu schylił się, i pisał po ziemi. | 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. |
| 9 A ci, którzy to usłyszeli, będąc przekonani przez ich własne sumienie, odchodzili jeden po drugim, począwszy od starszych, aż do ostatnich: i Jezus pozostał sam, i ta kobieta stojąca pośrodku. | 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. |
| 10 Gdy Jezus podniósł się, i nie zobaczył nikogo oprócz tej kobiety, powiedział do niej, Kobieto, gdzież są ci twoi oskarżyciele? czy żaden człowiek cię nie potępił? | 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? |
| 11 Ona powiedziała, Żaden człowiek, Panie. A Jezus powiedział do niej, Ani ja cię nie potępiam: idź i więcej nie grzesz. | 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. |
| 12 Potem Jezus ponownie powiedział do nich, mówiąc, Ja jestem światłością świata: ten kto idzie za mną, nie będzie chodził w ciemności, ale będzie miał światłość życia. | 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. |
| 13 Faryzeusze powiedzieli więc do niego, Ty niesiesz świadectwo sam o sobie; twoje świadectwo nie jest prawdziwe. | 13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. |
| 14 Jezus odpowiedział i rzekł do nich, Chociaż zaświadczam sam o sobie, jednak moje świadectwo jest prawdziwe: bo ja wiem, skąd przyszedłem, i dokąd idę; lecz wy nie wiecie skąd przyszedłem, i dokąd idę. | 14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. |
| 15 Wy sądzicie według ciała; ja nie sądzę żadnego człowieka. | 15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. |
| 16 A choćbym i sądził, mój sąd jest prawdziwy: bo nie jestem sam, lecz ja i Ojciec, który mnie posłał. | 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. |
| 17 Jest to także zapisane w waszym prawie, że świadectwo dwóch osób jest prawdziwe. | 17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. |
| 18 Ja jestem tym, który niesie świadectwo sam o sobie, a Ojciec, który mnie posłał niesie świadectwo o mnie. | 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. |
| 19 Wtedy oni powiedzieli do niego, Gdzie jest twój Ojciec? Jezus odpowiedział, Nie znacie ani mnie, ani mego Ojca: gdybyście mnie znali, znalibyście również mego Ojca. | 19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. |
| 20 Te słowa mówił Jezus w skarbcu, jak nauczał w świątyni: i żaden człowiek nie podniósł na niego ręki, bo jego godzina jeszcze nie nadeszła. | 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. |
| 21 Wtedy Jezus ponownie powiedział do nich, Ja idę swoją drogą, a wy będziecie mnie szukać, i umrzecie w swoich grzechach: gdzie ja idę, wy przyjść nie możecie. | 21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. |
| 22 Wtedy Żydzi mówili, Czyż sam się zabije? skoro mówi, Gdzie ja idę, wy przyjść nie możecie? | 22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. |
| 23 I powiedział do nich, Wy jesteście z dołu; ja jestem z wysoka: wy jesteście z tego świata; ja nie jestem z tego świata. | 23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. |
| 24 Powiedziałem wam dlatego, że umrzecie w swoich grzechach: bo jeśli nie uwierzycie, że ja nim jestem, umrzecie w swoich grzechach. | 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. |
| 25 Wtedy powiedzieli do niego, Kim ty jesteś? I Jezus mówi do nich, Właśnie tym samym, kim wam mówiłem od początku. | 25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. |
| 26 Mam wiele rzeczy do powiedzenia i do sądzenia o was: ale ten, który mnie posłał, jest prawdziwy; a ja mówię światu te rzeczy, które od niego słyszałem. | 26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. |
| 27 Nie zrozumieli, że mówił im o Ojcu. | 27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. |
| 28 Wtedy powiedział Jezus do nich, Gdy wywyższycie Syna człowieczego, wtedy poznacie, że ja nim jestem, i że nie czynię nic sam od siebie; ale jak mój Ojciec mnie nauczył, te rzeczy mówię. | 28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. |
| 29 A ten, który mnie posłał, jest ze mną: Ojciec nie zostawił mnie samego; bo ja zawsze czynię te rzeczy, które mu się podobają. | 29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. |
| 30 Jak mówił te słowa, wielu położyło wiarę w nim. | 30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. |
| 31 Wtedy powiedział Jezus do tych Żydów, którzy położyli w nim wiarę, Jeśli będziecie trwać w moim słowie, wtedy prawdziwie jesteście moimi uczniami; | 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; |
| 32 I poznacie prawdę, a prawda was wyzwoli. | 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. |
| 33 Odpowiedzieli mu, My jesteśmy nasieniem Abrahama, i nigdy nie byliśmy w niewoli żadnego człowieka: jakże ty mówisz, Zostaniecie uwolnieni? | 33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? |
| 34 Jezus odpowiedział im, Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam, Ktokolwiek popełnia grzech, jest sługą grzechu. | 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. |
| 35 A sługa nie mieszka w domu na wieki: lecz Syn mieszka na wieki. | 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. |
| 36 Jeśli więc Syn was wyzwoli, będziecie prawdziwie wolni. | 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. |
| 37 Wiem, że jesteście nasieniem Abrahama; lecz usiłujecie mnie zabić, ponieważ moje słowo nie znajduje miejsca w was. | 37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. |
| 38 Ja mówię to, co widziałem z moim Ojcem: a wy robicie to, co widzieliście z waszym ojcem. | 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. |
| 39 Odpowiedzieli i rzekli do niego, Abraham jest naszym ojcem. Jezus mówi do nich, Gdybyście byli dziećmi Abrahama, czynilibyście uczynki Abrahama. | 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. |
| 40 Lecz teraz usiłujecie mnie zabić, człowieka, który powiedział wam prawdę, którą słyszałem od Boga: tego Abraham nie zrobił. | 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. |
| 41 Wy czynicie uczynki waszego ojca. Wtedy powiedzieli do niego, My nie jesteśmy spłodzeni z nierządu; my mamy jednego Ojca, właśnie Boga. | 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. |
| 42 Jezus powiedział do nich, Gdyby Bóg był waszym Ojcem, miłowalibyście mnie: bo ja wyszedłem i przyszedłem od Boga; a nie przyszedłem sam od siebie, lecz on mnie posłał. | 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. |
| 43 Dlaczego nie pojmujecie mojej mowy? właśnie dlatego że nie możecie słuchać mojego słowa. | 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. |
| 44 Wy jesteście z waszego ojca diabła, i pożądliwości waszego ojca chcecie czynić. On był mordercą od początku, i nie został w prawdzie, ponieważ nie ma w nim prawdy. Gdy mówi kłamstwo, mówi od siebie: bo jest kłamcą, i ojcem tego. | 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. |
| 45 A ponieważ ja mówię wam prawdę, nie wierzycie mi. | 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. |
| 46 Któż z was obwini mnie o grzech? A jeśli ja mówię prawdę, dlaczego nie wierzycie mi? | 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? |
| 47 Ten kto jest z Boga, słucha słów Boga: wy ich zatem nie słuchacie, ponieważ nie jesteście z Boga. | 47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. |
| 48 Wtedy odpowiedzieli Żydzi, i rzekli do niego, Czy nie dobrze mówimy, że jesteś Samarytaninem i masz diabła? | 48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? |
| 49 Jezus odpowiedział, Ja nie mam diabła; ale czczę mego Ojca, a wy mnie hańbicie. | 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. |
| 50 A ja nie szukam swojej własnej chwały: jest jeden, który szuka i sądzi. | 50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. |
| 51 Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam, Jeśli człowiek zachowa moje słowa, nigdy nie ujrzy śmierci. | 51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. |
| 52 Wtedy Żydzi powiedzieli do niego, Teraz wiemy, że masz diabła. Abraham umarł, i prorocy, a ty mówisz, Jeśli człowiek zachowa moje słowa, nigdy nie zakosztuje śmierci. | 52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. |
| 53 Czy ty jesteś większy od naszego ojca Abrahama, który umarł? i prorocy poumierali: kim ty się czynisz? | 53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? |
| 54 Jezus odpowiedział, Jeśli ja sam siebie czczę, moja cześć jest niczym: mój Ojciec jest tym, który mnie czci; o którym wy mówicie, że jest waszym Bogiem: | 54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: |
| 55 Jednak nie poznaliście go; ale ja go znam: i jeślibym powiedział, że go nie znam, byłbym kłamcą podobnym do was: ale znam go, i zachowuję jego słowa. | 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. |
| 56 Wasz ojciec Abraham uradował się aby zobaczyć mój dzień: i ujrzał, i radował się. | 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. |
| 57 Wtedy Żydzi powiedzieli do niego, Pięćdziesięciu lat jeszcze nie masz, a Abrahama widziałeś? | 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? |
| 58 Jezus powiedział do nich, Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam, Zanim Abraham był, Ja jestem. | 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. |
| 59 Wtedy podnieśli kamienie, aby w niego rzucać: lecz Jezus ukrył się, i wyszedł ze świątyni, przechodząc pośród nich, i tak przeszedł. | 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. |
