| 5 Słysząc o twojej miłości i wierze, którą masz względem Pana Jezusa, i względem wszystkich świętych; | 5 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; |
| 6 Aby przekaz twojej wiary mógł się stać skuteczny przez dokładne uznanie każdego dobra, które jest w was w Chrystusie Jezusie. | 6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. |
| 7 Bowiem mamy wielką radość i pociechę w twojej miłości, ponieważ trzewia świętych są odświeżane przez ciebie, bracie. | 7 For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother. |

| 14 Lecz bez twojej opinii nie chciałem nic uczynić, aby twoja korzyść nie była jakby z przymusu, ale z dobrej woli. | 14 But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly. |
| 15 Być może dlatego odszedł na pewien czas, abyś przyjął go na wieki; | 15 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever; |
| 16 Już nie jako sługę, ale ponad sługę, jako brata umiłowanego, szczególnie dla mnie, ale o ileż bardziej dla ciebie, zarówno w ciele, jak i w Panu? | 16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord? |

| 18 A jeśli wyrządził ci jakąś szkodę, albo jest ci coś winien, policz to na mój rachunek; | 18 If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account; |
| 19 Ja, Paweł, napisałem własnoręcznie, ja spłacę: aby ci nie powiedzieć, że jesteś mi winny nawet samego siebie. | 19 I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides. |

| 22 Ale zarazem przygotuj mi też gościnę: bo mam ufność, że poprzez wasze modlitwy będę wam oddany. | 22 But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you. |
