| 6 Który będąc w postaci Boga, nie uważał za rabunek być równym Bogu: | 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: |
| 7 Lecz sam siebie pozbawił wszelkiej sławy, i przyjął na siebie postać sługi, i stał się podobnym do ludzi: | 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: |
| 8 A uznany z postawy za człowieka, uniżył samego siebie, i stał się posłusznym do śmierci, nawet śmierci krzyżowej. | 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. |
| 9 Dlatego też Bóg nader go wywyższył, i dał mu imię, które jest ponad wszelkie imię: | 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: |

| 16 Trzymając się słowa życia; abym mógł się radować w dniu Chrystusa, że nie biegłem na próżno, ani nie trudziłem się na próżno. | 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. |
| 17 Zaiste, i choćbym został złożony na ofiarę i w posłudze waszej wiary, raduję się, i cieszę z wami wszystkimi. | 17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. |
| 18 Z tego samego powodu i wy się radujcie, i cieszcie się ze mną. | 18 For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me. |
| 19 Ale mam ufność w Panu Jezusie, aby wkrótce posłać do was Tymoteusza, abym i ja mógł być pocieszony, gdy poznam wasz stan. | 19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. |
| 20 Bowiem nie mam żadnego człowieka podobnie myślącego, który by się szczerze troszczył o wasz stan. | 20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. |
| 21 Bo wszyscy szukają swego, a nie tego, co należy do Jezusa Chrystusa. | 21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s. |

| 25 Jednak uznałem za konieczne posłać do was Epafrodyta, mego brata, i współpracownika, i współbojownika, a waszego wysłannika i tego, który ministrował w moich potrzebach. | 25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. |

| 30 Ponieważ dla dzieła Chrystusa był bliski śmierci, nie dbając o swoje życie, aby zaopatrzyć wasz brak posługi wobec mnie. | 3o Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me. |
