| 1 Wtedy przyszli do Jezusa prawoznawcy i Faryzeusze, którzy byli z Jerozolimy, mówiąc, | 1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, |
| 2 Czemu twoi uczniowie postępują wbrew tradycji starszych? bo nie myją rąk gdy jedzą chleb. | 2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. |
| 3 Lecz on odpowiedział i rzekł do nich, Czemu wy też postępujecie wbrew przykazaniu Boga przez swoją tradycję? | 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? |
| 4 Bowiem Bóg nakazał, mówiąc, Czcij swego ojca i matkę: oraz, Kto przeklina ojca albo matkę, niech poniesie śmierć. | 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. |
| 5 Ale wy mówicie, Ktokolwiek powie do swego ojca albo matki, Cokolwiek możesz zyskać ode mnie, to jest dar; | 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; |
| 6 A nie czci swego ojca czy matki, będzie wolny. Tak uczyniliście przykazanie Boga bezskutecznym przez waszą tradycję. | 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. |
| 7 Wy hipokryci, dobrze prorokował o was Ezajasz, mówiąc, | 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, |
| 8 Ten lud przybliża się do mnie swymi ustami, i czci mnie swymi wargami; ale ich serce daleko jest ode mnie. | 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. |
| 9 Lecz na próżno wielbią mnie, nauczając jako doktryn przykazań ludzkich. | 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. |
| 10 I przywołał tłum, i powiedział do nich, Słuchajcie i zrozumcie: | 10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: |
| 11 Nie to co wchodzi do ust, kala człowieka; ale to co z ust wychodzi, to kala człowieka. | 11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. |
| 12 Wtedy podeszli jego uczniowie i powiedzieli do niego, Wiesz, że Faryzeusze byli zgorszeni, po usłyszeniu tej mowy? | 12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? |
| 13 Lecz on odpowiedział i rzekł, Każda roślina, której mój niebiański Ojciec nie zasadził, będzie wykorzeniona. | 13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. |
| 14 Zostawcie ich: oni są ślepymi przewodnikami ślepych. A jeśli ślepy prowadzi ślepego, obaj wpadną w dół. | 14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. |

| 18 Ale te rzeczy, które wychodzą z ust pochodzą z serca; i one kalają człowieka. | 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. |
| 19 Bo z serca pochodzą diabelskie myśli, zabójstwa, cudzołóstwa, nierząd, kradzieże, fałszywe świadectwa, bluźnierstwa: | 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: |
| 20 Te rzeczy kalają człowieka: lecz jedzenie nieumytymi rękami nie kala człowieka. | 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. |
| 21 Potem Jezus odszedł stamtąd, i udał się nad granice Tyru i Sydonu. | 21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. |
| 22 A oto kobieta z Kanaanu, wyszła z tych samych granic, i wołała do niego, mówiąc, Zmiłuj się nade mną, O Panie, synu Dawida; moja córka jest ciężko dręczona przez diabła. | 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. |
| 23 Ale on nie odpowiedział jej ani słowa. I podeszli jego uczniowie, i błagali go, mówiąc, Odeślij ją; bo woła za nami. | 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. |
| 24 Lecz on odpowiedział i rzekł, Jestem posłany tylko do zaginionych owiec z domu Izraela. | 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. |
| 25 Potem ona podeszła i wielbiła go, mówiąc, Panie, pomóż mi. | 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. |
| 26 Lecz on odpowiedział i rzekł, Nie jest to właściwe, aby zabierać chleb dzieciom, i rzucać go psom. | 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. |
| 27 A ona powiedziała, Prawda, Panie: jednak psy zjadają z okruchów, które spadają ze stołu ich panów. | 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. |
| 28 Wtedy Jezus odpowiedział i rzekł do niej, O kobieto, wielka jest twoja wiara: niech ci się stanie właśnie jak chcesz. I jej córka została uzdrowiona od tej właśnie godziny. | 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. |
| 29 A Jezus odszedł stamtąd, i zbliżył się nad morze Galilejskie; i wszedł na górę i tam usiadł. | 29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. |
| 30 I przyszły do niego wielkie tłumy, mając ze sobą chromych, ślepych, niemych, ułomnych oraz wielu innych, i położyli ich u stóp Jezusa; a on ich uzdrowił: | 30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: |
| 31 Tak, że tłumy dziwiły się gdy zobaczyły, że niemi mówią, ułomni są uzdrowieni, chromi chodzą, a ślepi widzą: i uwielbiali Boga Izraela. | 31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. |
| 32 Wtedy Jezus przywołał do siebie swoich uczniów i powiedział, Współczuję temu tłumowi, bo już trzy dni przy mnie trwają, i nie mają nic do jedzenia: a nie chcę ich odprawić poszczących, aby przypadkiem nie zasłabli w drodze. | 32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. |
| 33 A jego uczniowie mówią do niego, Skąd mamy mieć tyle chleba na tym pustkowiu, aby nakarmić tak wielki tłum? | 33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? |
| 34 A Jezus mówi do nich, Ile bochenków macie? A oni powiedzieli, Siedem i kilka małych ryb. | 34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes. |
| 35 I nakazał tłumowi usiąść na ziemi. | 35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. |
| 36 I wziął te siedem bochenków i ryby, i podziękował, i łamał je, i dawał swoim uczniom, a uczniowie tłumowi. | 36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. |
| 37 I jedli wszyscy, i zostali nasyceni: a z ułomków żywności które pozostały podnieśli siedem pełnych koszy. | 37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. |
| 38 A tych, którzy jedli, było cztery tysiące mężczyzn, oprócz kobiet i dzieci. | 38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. |
| 39 I odesłał tłum, i wsiadł do łodzi, i przybył na wybrzeże Magdali. | 39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala. |
