| 4 Kim jesteś ty, że sądzisz cudzego sługę? dla własnego mistrza on stoi lub upada. Zaiste, on będzie podtrzymany: gdyż Bóg jest w stanie go podtrzymać. | 4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. |
| 5 Jeden człowiek ocenia jeden dzień wyżej od drugiego: inny ocenia każdy dzień tak samo. Niech każdy będzie w pełni przekonany we własnym umyśle. | 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. |
| 6 Ten kto zważa na dzień, zważa na niego dla Pana; a ten kto nie zważa na dzień, dla Pana na niego nie zważa. Ten kto je, dla Pana je, bo Bogu dziękuje; a ten kto nie je, dla Pana nie je i Bogu dziękuje. | 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. |
| 7 Bo nikt z nas nie żyje dla siebie, i żaden człowiek nie umiera dla siebie. | 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. |
| 8 Bo czy żyjemy, żyjemy dla Pana; i czy umieramy, umieramy dla Pana: czy więc żyjemy, czy umieramy, należymy do Pana. | 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. |

| 11 Bowiem jest napisane, Jak żyję, mówi Pan, każde kolano ugnie się do mnie, i każdy język wyzna do Boga. | 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. |
| 12 Tak więc każdy z nas zda rachunek za siebie do Boga. | 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. |
| 13 Nie osądzajmy więc już jedni drugich: ale to raczej rozsądźmy, aby żaden człowiek nie stawiał przeszkody ani sposobności do upadku na drodze swego brata. | 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. |

| 15 Lecz jeśli brat twój zasmuca się z powodu twego pokarmu, to nie postępujesz miłosiernie. Nie zatracaj go swoim pokarmem, za którego umarł Chrystus. | 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. |
| 16 Niech więc nie mówi się diabelsko o twoim dobru: | 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: |
| 17 Bowiem królestwo Boga nie jest pokarmem i napojem; ale sprawiedliwością, i pokojem, i radością w Duchu Świętym. | 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. |
| 18 Bo ten kto w tych rzeczach służy Chrystusowi, jest akceptowalny Bogu, i uznany przez ludzi. | 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. |
| 19 Podążajmy więc za rzeczami, które czynią pokój, i za rzeczami, którymi jeden może wpływać budująco na drugiego. | 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. |
| 20 Bo pokarm nie niszczy dzieła Boga. Wszystko wprawdzie jest czyste; ale staje się diabelskie dla tego człowieka, który je ze zgorszeniem. | 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. |
| 21 Dobrze jest, ani nie jeść mięsa, ani nie pić wina, ani żadnej rzeczy, przez którą twój brat się potknie, albo się zgorszy, albo się osłabi. | 21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. |
| 22 Czy masz wiarę? miej ją dla siebie przed Bogiem. Szczęśliwy jest ten, kto nie potępia samego siebie w tej rzeczy, którą akceptuje. | 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. |
| 23 A ten kto wątpi, jest przeklęty, jeśli je, ponieważ nie je z wiary: bo cokolwiek nie jest z wiary, jest grzechem. | 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. |
