| 10 Widziałem mozół, który Bóg dał synom ludzkim, aby się w nim ćwiczyli. | 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. |
| 11 Uczynił wszystko pięknym w swym czasie: także włożył świat w ich serce, tak że żaden człowiek nie może zgłębić dzieła, które Bóg czyni od początku do końca. | 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. |
| 12 Wiem, że nie ma w nich nic dobrego, ale aby człowiek się radował i czynił dobro w swym życiu. | 12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. |
| 13 I również, że każdy człowiek powinien jeść i pić, i cieszyć się dobrem całego swego trudu, to jest darem Boga. | 13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. |
| 14 Wiem, że cokolwiek Bóg czyni, będzie to na wieki: nic nie może być do tego dodane, ani nic od tego odjęte: a Bóg czyni to, aby ludzie się go bali. | 14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. |
| 15 To co było, jest teraz; a to co ma być, już było; a Bóg żąda tego co przeminęło. | 15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. |

| 20 Wszyscy idą w jednakie miejsce; wszyscy są z prochu, i wszyscy w proch się obracają. | 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. |
| 21 Kto zna ducha człowieka, który idzie w górę, i ducha zwierzęcia, który zstępuje w dół do ziemi? | 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? |
| 22 Dlatego postrzegam, że nie ma nic lepszego niż to, aby człowiek radował się we własnych dziełach; bo to jest jego przydział: bo któż go przywiedzie aby zobaczył co będzie po nim? | 22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him? |
