| 3 Nie dawaj swej siły kobietom, ani swych dróg temu, co niszczy królów. | 3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. |
| 4 Nie dla królów, O Lemuelu, nie dla królów pić wino; ani dla książąt mocny napój: | 4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: |
| 5 Aby nie pili, i nie zapomnieli prawa, i nie wypaczyli sądu żadnego z uciśnionych. | 5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. |
| 6 Daj mocny napój temu, który jest gotowy zginąć, a wino tym, którzy są ciężkiego serca. | 6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. |
| 7 Niech pije, i zapomni swego ubóstwa, i nie pamięta więcej swej nędzy. | 7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. |
| 8 Otwórz swe usta za niemych w sprawie wszystkich takich, co są przeznaczeni na zatracenie. | 8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
| 9 Otwórz swe usta, sądź sprawiedliwie, i broń sprawy ubogiego i potrzebującego. | 9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. |
| 10 Któż znajdzie cnotliwą kobietę? gdyż jej cena jest daleko ponad rubiny. | 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. |
| 11 Serce jej męża bezpiecznie jej ufa, tak że nie będzie on miał żadnej potrzeby łupu. | 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. |
| 12 Będzie mu czynić dobro, a nie diabelstwo, po wszystkie dni swego życia. | 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. |
| 13 Szuka wełny, i lnu, i chętnie pracuje swymi rękami. | 13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. |
| 14 Jest jak statki kupieckie; sprowadza swój pokarm z daleka. | 14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. |
| 15 Wstaje także, gdy jeszcze jest noc, i daje pokarm swemu domowi, i dział swym służebnicom. | 15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. |
| 16 Rozważa pole, i kupuje je: owocem swoich rąk sadzi winnicę. | 16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. |
| 17 Przepasuje swe biodra siłą, i wzmacnia swe ramiona. | 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. |
| 18 Spostrzega, że jej handel jest dobry; jej świeca nie gaśnie w nocy. | 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. |
| 19 Kładzie swe ręce do wrzeciona, a jej ręce trzymają kądziel. | 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. |
| 20 Wyciąga swą rękę do ubogiego; zaiste, wyciąga swe ręce do potrzebującego. | 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. |
| 21 Nie boi się śniegu dla swego domu: bo wszyscy jej domownicy są przyodziani szkarłatem. | 21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. |

| 24 Wyrabia bisior, i sprzedaje go; i dostarcza pasy kupcowi. | 24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. |
| 25 Siła i cześć są jej odzieniem; i będzie się radować w nadchodzącym czasie. | 25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. |
| 26 Otwiera swe usta z mądrością; a na jej języku jest prawo życzliwości. | 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. |
| 27 Dobrze dogląda dróg swego domu, i nie je chleba bezczynności. | 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. |
| 28 Jej dzieci powstają, i nazywają ją błogosławioną; także jej mąż, i chwali ją. | 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. |
| 29 Wiele córek postępowało cnotliwie, lecz ty przewyższasz je wszystkie. | 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. |
| 30 Przychylność jest zwodnicza, a piękno jest marnością: lecz kobieta, która boi się PANA, ona będzie chwalona. | 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. |
| 31 Dajcie jej z owocu jej rąk; a niech jej własne uczynki chwalą ją w bramach. | 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. |
