| 5 Fałszywy świadek nie będzie bez kary, a ten który mówi kłamstwa nie ujdzie. | 5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. |
| 6 Wielu będzie ubiegać się o przychylność księcia: a każdy człowiek jest przyjacielem tego który daje dary. | 6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts. |
| 7 Wszyscy bracia ubogiego nienawidzą go: o ileż bardziej jego przyjaciele oddalają się od niego? ściga ich słowami, lecz nie ma ich dla niego. | 7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him. |

| 15 Lenistwo pogrąża w głęboki sen; a bezczynna dusza będzie cierpieć głód. | 15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger. |
| 16 Ten, który zachowuje przykazanie, zachowuje swoją własną duszę; lecz ten, który gardzi jego drogami, umrze. | 16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. |
| 17 Ten, który ma litość nad ubogim, pożycza PANU; a to co dał, on odda mu z powrotem. | 17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. |

| 20 Słuchaj rady, i przyjmuj pouczenie, abyś mógł być mądry przy końcu swym. | 20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. |
| 21 Jest wiele zamysłów w sercu człowieka; niemniej jednak rada PANA, ta się ostoi. | 21 There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. |
| 22 Pragnienie człowieka jest jego życzliwością: a ubogi człowiek jest lepszy niż kłamca. | 22 The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. |
| 23 Bojaźń PANA prowadzi do życia: a ten, który ją ma pozostanie nasycony; nie będzie nawiedzony diabelstwem. | 23 The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. |
| 24 Leniwy człowiek chowa swoją rękę w swoim zanadrzu, i nie chce jej nawet z powrotem przynieść do swoich ust. | 24 A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. |
| 25 Uderz szydercę, a prosty będzie się strzegł: i napomnij tego, który ma zrozumienie, a zrozumie poznanie. | 25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge. |
